Bedroom with dramatic black wallpaper

Black wallpaper with a striking gold pattern, cream and peach bedlinen and a brass bedstead combine to create a dramatic boudoir.

Relaxed country bedroom

A cool palette of stone, charcoal, putty and ink blue create a warm country feel with a touch of sophistication. A sense of opulence has been added with draped, fine-weave wool curtains and a matching buttoned headboard.

Classic master bedroom

A blend of neutral tones strengthens the frame effect of this bedroom's architecture, while a number of tactile fabrics, such as the silk lampshades, help to emphasise the luxury feel.

Red owl fabric door stop

Cute bird door stop
Cute bird door stop
I’d love to have the doors in my home propped open by this cute owl door stop.
Crafted from jolly red gingham and spot appliqued fabric, this vintage style doorstop is both practical and a lovely decorative accessory to have in your home.
The owl is nicely stitched, especially around the button eyes, and comes ready for you to fill with rice and get it into action.
The red owl doorstop is £9.49 from Cloth-ears.

Large country hallway

This eclectic home mixes antiques with pretty fabrics to create traditional country style. The wooden floor has been painted with Potmolen paint, and the fabric for the covered chair is from Vanessa Arbuthnott. Antique furniture and pictures turn what could have been passing-through space into a cosy relaxing area.

Imposing georgian hallway

The impressive hall and stairs in this 18th century house make a real statement. The rich red carpeting contrasts with the simple neutral backdrop and draws attention to original features like the graceful curve of the stairs and the long, well-proportioned hallway. An antique light adds a finishing touch.

Period conservatory

Panels of heavy cotton fitted to the roof is a softer alternative to traditional conservatory blinds and gently diffuses light. Art Deco-style stained glass from Kymes Stained Glass sets an earthy tone and antique French furniture and the tapestry covered footstool and cushions duly follow.

Conservatory with wood-burning stove

Wicker armchairs and a wood-burning stove create a cosy mullti-purpose vibe in this bright conservatory.
